Helen Huang's work is very "beautiful" to look at. She works well with a colour scheme in each piece, and reveals subtle details the longer you look at the illustration. In this one she has worked cleverly will building an image with layers, using different tones of colour to create depth. She has also worked at keeping the background and surrounding illustrations subtle in colour and detail, to keep your eyes drawn to the young woman. She has created her in bold vibrant colours, to keep the illustration from looking washed out, as well drawing your attention straight to her.
