2009 – Present: Bacholor Of Arts Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design at the Plymouth College of Art

2006 – 2009: Triple Distinction National Diploma in Graphic Design

2001 – 2006: Ten GCSE’s at Plymouth High School For Girls in:

Experience:

2008- Present: Working as a freelance Graphic Designer, Artist and Illustrator, that has enabled to gain the experience and skills in dealing with members of the public, Business Advertisement, meeting deadlines, organising a diary of work and finance management. I also have Public Liability Insurance, which has enables me to attend festivals and arts markets where I sell and promote my work. I have also been involved with charities, and auctioning my art to raise them money.

September 2008: Managed, created and directed a private exhibition at the Plymouth Guildhall, produced and displayed my artwork independently. Graphically produced invitations and posters to advertise the event, liaising with members of the public and other organisations.

A self-written Article to the Plymouth Evening Herald Newspaper where my work was praised and one of my paintings was displayed.

September 2008: Was personally invited to Exhibit Private Artwork at a large Charity Event whereby a piece of my work was donated and Auctioned to raise money. The event also involved communicating with Successful Business people and members of the public.

Achievements:

·       Bachelor of Arts Degree in Illustration & Print

·       A Triple Distinction National Diploma in Graphic design. I worked with one hundred percent effort and dedication where I earned fifteen distinctions and three merits for eighteen different assignments giving me an immediate place on a degree course at Plymouth College of Art.

·       Been approached by various members of the public with interest in the purchase of personal artwork and graphic design.

·       Sold numerous commissions since the age of 15, where I worked with a diverse range of people for both individuals and businesses.

·       Self Curator of a private exhibition

·       Auctioned artwork at charity Events, and raised them money, been invited as a special guest at a huge charity event

·       Was invited to display work at a local Talent Event

·       Won a Devon art competition where given the opportunity to participate in a Devon Art Event

·       As a junior won numerous Art Competitions at a local Festival where I received money. I also won the opportunity to meet a well known artist, Brian Pollard, to be rewarded with a signed and framed Limited Edition print of his work.

Interests:

Producing graphic designs, illustrations, art and web-design in spare time, hand made books, greetings cards and gift wrap, continues to develop skills in computer design software, travels to different places such Brighton and London regularly to liaise with business people regarding my art work, enjoys photography, enjoys taking part in different events and arts markets, maintains an active and healthy lifestyle, has a great social life and loves meeting new and diverse people from all walks of life.
